Complex Needs Teacher – Part Time (2 Days) – Solihull

A welcoming special school in Solihull is seeking a Complex Needs Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis, working Mondays and Tuesdays. This is a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated teacher who is passionate about supporting pupils with complex learning needs and providing a nurturing environment where they can thrive.

Responsibilities
  • Planning and delivering creative, differentiated lessons to meet individual pupil needs
  • Creating a positive and safe learning environment that promotes independence and confidence
  • Working closely with teaching assistants and specialist staff to support pupils effectively
  • Supporting communication, social, and emotional development of pupils
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, families, and external professionals
Qualifications
  • QTS and experience teaching pupils with complex needs or special educational needs
  • The ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet a wide range of learning needs
  • Strong behaviour management and excellent communication skills
  • A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach to teaching
  • Previous experience in a SEND school or specialist setting (desirable)
