Onpoint Care Recruitment Ltd is seeking experienced Complex Care Support Workers and Healthcare Assistants to join our flexible agency team serving Hastings, Bexhill, Eastbourne and the surrounding areas.

You will provide safe, person-centred care in accordance with individual care plans, risk assessments and placement requirements, with duties including personal care and wellbeing monitoring.

Qualifications

• Recent UK experience within healthcare, complex care or support work.
• Ability to follow detailed care plans, risk assessments and professional guidance.
• Willingness to complete induction, mandatory training and competency assessments.

Responsabilités

• Provide person-centred care in line with care plans and risk assessments.
• Support mobility and moving and handling where required.
• Assist with continence, nutrition and hydration needs.

Onpoint Care is a trusted and well-established temporary staffing agency, providing high-quality staffing support to care providers across the UK.

Due to continued demand for our temporary staffing services across Hastings, Bexhill, Eastbourne and the surrounding areas, we are recruiting experienced Complex Care Support Workers and Healthcare Assistants to join our flexible agency team.

This role is suited to experienced care professionals who are confident supporting individuals with complex health, physical, neurological or behavioural needs.

About the Role

You will provide safe, responsive and person-centred care in accordance with individual care plans, risk assessments and the requirements of each placement.

Responsibilities may include personal care, mobility and moving and handling support, continence care, nutritional and hydration support, monitoring wellbeing, maintaining accurate records and recognising and reporting changes or concerns.

Depending on the placement and your individual training and competencies, you may support individuals with more complex needs. Specialist or clinical tasks must only be undertaken where you have received the appropriate training, have been assessed as competent and are authorised to do so within the placement.

What We're Looking For

• Have recent UK experience within healthcare, complex care or support work
• Be confident following detailed care plans, risk assessments and professional guidance
• Be willing to complete Onpoint Care's induction, mandatory training and any additional competency assessments required
• Have an Enhanced DBS, satisfactory employment references and the Right to Work in the UK

Previous experience supporting individuals with complex health needs, learning disabilities, autism, neurological conditions, physical disabilities or behaviours that may challenge is desirable.
