What You’ll Be Doing
  • Assisting service users with personal care.
  • Safe lifting and moving.
  • Administering medication.
  • Meal preparation.
  • Providing general companionship.
  • Working closely with care plans to ensure individuals maintain independence and dignity.
  • Providing the physical and emotional support that they might need to achieve their goals.
What We’re Looking For
  • You must be over 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in supporting individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviors, supporting vulnerable individuals with learning disabilities, autism and personality disorders.
  • PVMA or CPI training would be advantageous, but this can be provided.
  • Flexibility in your availability, with the ability to travel to different care settings.
  • A good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively.
  • A clear enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration.
