Job summary

Leaders In Care Ltd in Teignmouth (TQ14) is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants for both full-time and part-time roles to support individuals with highly complex clinical needs at home. The positions cover day, night and weekend shifts, with pay per hour listed for each schedule.

You will deliver one-to-one clinical care, manage tracheostomy and ventilator support, assist with daily living activities, and document condition changes while collaborating with nurses and families to maintain

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant, Complex Care Assistant or Support Worker.
• Essential experience supporting individuals with complex clinical needs, including tracheostomy and ventilator care.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality personal and clinical care.
• Support individuals with complex healthcare needs in their own homes.
• Provide care for people requiring tracheostomy and ventilator support.
• Assist with personal care, mobility, nutrition and daily living activities.
• Monitor and accurately document changes in condition.
• Work collaboratively with nurses, families and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Promote dignity, independence and choice at every opportunity.
