Job summary

City and County Healthcare Group Ltd in Bromsgrove is seeking a dedicated care worker to provide daily living support for a young person with complex health needs. You will assist with personal care, meals, mobility and daily routines, ensuring safety and dignity at all times.

You will monitor for seizure activity, recognise triggers, and respond with prescribed rescue medication when required, while supporting communication and participation in activities the client enjoys.

Qualifications

• Experience working with epilepsy and seizure management would be beneficial
• Caring and compassionate approach
• Keen to help promote client independence
• Calm and patient individual

Responsibilities

• Provide full daily living support including personal care, bathing, dressing and continence management.
• Support with a pureed diet and maintain strict infection control procedures.
• Monitor seizure activity, recognise triggers, administer prescribed rescue medication and follow emergency procedures when required.
