Job summary

CCH,Advantage Healthcare part of CCH, is looking for a Complex Care Assistant to support a client who has had a stroke in Thornton Heath. You will work Sundays and provide careful, patient care, building trust and ensuring safety throughout shifts.

The role involves managing challenging behaviours, using moving and handling equipment, and sometimes accompanying clients on social events or travel. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in community care with challenging behaviours.
• Ability to use moving and handling equipment provided.
• Clear and concise communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Care for a client who has suffered a stroke and may not always be aware of what they are saying or doing.
• Provide compassionate support with patience, resilience and consistency.
• Attend to social aspects, events, and potential travel with the client when appropriate.
