A community care provider in Tunbridge Wells is seeking a Complex Care Assistant to support a young lady with specific needs, including complex communication requirements. The role includes personal care, medication administration, and maintaining communication with the client’s family. Candidates must have previous care experience and a full UK driving licence. 2:30pm- 10:00pm

6:00pm- 10:00pm plus sleep in night
Complex Care Assistants within the team may be required to take part in the on call rota. This is being at call - on standby should assistance be needed.
We are looking for a Complex Care Assistant to join our team in Tunbridge Wells. Our position is to look after a young lady in her 30's who requires 24 hours care, seven days a week. The lady has complex communication needs so an understanding of verbal, non‑verbal, augmented communication and Makaton would be helpful, although training will be given. She has a form of Cerebral Palsy, PEG feed and anxiety. Our client is very active and enjoys meeting friends and going out. She loves engaging with the community as well as having a quality time at home. She enjoys swimming, listening to music or watching a good movie.
Throughout the working day you will be working alongside another Complex Care Assistant. Before you begin, you will have the opportunity to meet the client and the family to ensure you are well‑prepared for the role.
Previous experience with the below is a strong advantage, but not essential as full training and support will be provided:
