CCH in Lincoln is seeking a compassionate, flexible care assistant to support a 54-year-old gentleman with cerebral palsy at home. You’ll help with his evening and night routine, after day centre visits, and may assist with weekend activities in the community.
Full nurse-led training is provided; no prior care experience is required, but CP, medication administration, or moving and handling experience is helpful. A full UK driving licence is required.
Shifts: Day shifts available | Monday to Friday, 3:15 pm – 9:30 pm | Weekends, 7:00 am – 9:30 pm
Driver: Yes -A full valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, due to the geographical location of the role.

In this role, you’ll support a 54-year-old gentleman with cerebral palsy in his own home. Our client attends a day centre during the week, and you’ll provide support when he returns home, helping him with his evening and night-time routine.
At weekends, you may also support him to get out and enjoy activities in the community. He particularly enjoys hydrotherapy swimming, listening to music and watching television.
You don’t need any care experience to apply for this role, just plenty of care, compassion and resilience, as we provide full nurse-led training.
However a background in caring for clients with cerebral palsy, medication administration and specialist moving and handling would make your application more advantageous.
You must hold a full UK driving licence to be considered for this role.
