Job summary

United Response in Rustington is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help people live independently and participate in their communities. You will build relationships and provide day-to-day support including personal care, dressing, finances, medication, appointments, employment, volunteering and hobbies, aligned to each person’s plan.

The role is 37.5 hours per week with shifts including evenings, sleep shifts and weekends. DBS check required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Must be compassionate and dedicated to helping others.
• Ability to build trusting relationships with people supported.
• Willing to work shifts including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist with dressing, personal care, finances and medication.
• Attend appointments with the person supported and help with daily routines.
• Support with employment, volunteering and hobbies as outlined in personal plans.
• Help people to access activities and participate in their local community.
