Job summary

Disability North in North Shields is seeking a Female Support Worker to assist a lady with daily living and community activities. You’ll help with morning routines, meals, light housework, and getting out and about.

A car is required; you’ll support independence, enjoy discussing football, and help the client stay positive. This role may require being female in line with legal guidelines, and you must have UK work permission.

Qualifications

• Caring, reliable and motivated frontline support required.
• Willingness to chat about Newcastle FC is a bonus.
• Must have access to a car; the client uses a manual wheelchair.
• Supports independence and positive daily living.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily morning routines and personal care.
• Support with admin tasks and light housework.
• Assist with toileting, showering and dressing; manage ankle brace.
• Prepare breakfast and help with getting out into the community.
