Job summary

Ark in Kelso is seeking a Support Practitioner to help tenants live independently and participate in activities of their choice. You will work with a small team to deliver person-centred support across varying needs, with hours tailored to individuals and a focus on building meaningful community relationships.

The role offers full-time (37 hours) or part-time (18 hours) hours, a permanent contract, and pay at the Real Living Wage with a probation-period advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or social support is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Working as part of an effective and efficient team to support people with care and support needs.
• Communicate and work with supported people to provide individual care and maintain relationships.
• Support individuals with preferred activities and provide encouragement.
