Job summary

Career Makers Inc. is recruiting a Registered Nurse for a nursing home in Liverpool, offering day shifts and a rate of £22.50 per hour. The role focuses on clinical care dignity, medication management, and personalised care plans within a multidisciplinary team.

You will work with residents and families to ensure safe, high-quality care, maintain records, and support staff through handovers and training, while adhering to safeguarding and infection-control protocols.

Qualifications

• Valid NMC registration and PIN.
• RGN or RMN qualification.
• Good clinical knowledge including medication management and wound care.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Caring, compassionate and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Delivering high-quality nursing and clinical care.
• Administering medication safely in line with NMC guidelines.
• Assessing and monitoring residents' health and wellbeing.
• Creating, reviewing and updating individual care plans.
• Responding appropriately to changes in residents' health.
• Liaising with GPs and other healthcare professionals.
• Supporting residents with complex, progressive or end-of-life care needs.
• Maintaining accurate clinical records and completing clear shift handovers.
• Ensuring safeguarding, infection control and health and safety procedures are followed.
• Providing guidance and support to care staff and new team members.
• Building positive relationships with residents and their families.
