Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a phlebotomist to provide blood taking services across multiple settings within Calderdale and Kirklees. The role requires excellent communication, data recording accuracy and a patient-centered approach.

Training will be provided; travel between hospitals, GP surgeries, community centres and patients' homes is expected. The post involves working in a seven-day service with shifts between 08:00 and 20:00, and flexibility to meet patient

Qualifications

• Evidence of a good level of education.
• Ability to record data accurately.
• Experience in health care or customer service.
• Venepuncture experience desirable but training provided.
• Willingness to travel between sites.
• Access to a vehicle for work.

Responsabilités

• Provide a high-quality blood taking service to patients across Calderdale and Kirklees.
• Travel between hospital sites, GP surgeries, community venues and patients' homes to deliver the service.
• Work within a seven-day service, covering hours 08:00–20:00.
• Complete required training; adapt to changing service needs.
• Attend to DBS disclosure requirements where applicable.
