Job summary

LLOYD'S REGISTER INTERNATIONAL is seeking a part-time Personal Assistant to cover maternity leave for a disabled client in the Barry area. The role involves personal care, domestic duties and occasional social visits.

You must be comfortable with privacy, have a caring attitude, and be able to work independently with initiative. The position starts in December for 15 hours per week, lasts 10–12 months, and pays £15.30 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal care or domestic assistance.
• Comfortable assisting with showering, dressing and daily living activities.
• Willingness to undertake training such as Manual Handling and First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support as described.
• Carry out household tasks including laundry, changing beds and meal preparation.
• Support social visits and accompanying activities as agreed with employer.
• Be reliable, punctual and able to work independently within agreed criteria.
