Job summary

Independent Lives in Crawley, United Kingdom, is seeking two Personal Assistants to provide consistent, compassionate in-home support for a stay-at-home mum with disabilities, including Crohn's disease and ADHD. You will assist with daily tasks at home and help the client access medical appointments and community activities.

Qualifications

• All applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be willing to undertake an Enhanced DBS check if required.
• If the role is offered on a self-employed basis, you will be responsible for the cost of your own DBS check.

• Daily basic help cleaning and applying cream to an intimate wound.
• Assistance with stoma bag changes if too ill to do it independently (very rare).
• Assisting me to take my son out to access medical appointments, home ed groups/trips and run errands.
• Help advocating during medical appointments.
