Job summary

Glasgow Centre for Inclusive Living in Glasgow's West End is seeking a part-time Personal Assistant to support Gill, a sociable 62-year-old woman, with daily routines, wellbeing and household tasks to help her stay independent at home. You will work alongside Gill's existing PA, receive training, and coordinate with the team to ensure continuity, including holiday cover.

The role is 10 hours per week, paid £13.60 per hour, with hours across five weekdays; exact days will be agreed at interview.

Qualifications

• Female Personal Assistant required as an occupational gender requirement.
• Experience in care, support, health or PA role preferred.
• Ability to monitor wellbeing and follow prescribed plans.
• Good communication and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist Gill with daily routines and household tasks to promote independence.
• Wipe bathroom, hoover, dust, and take out bins.
• Shop for groceries and run errands.
• Monitor wellbeing and report concerns to District Nurses.
• Assist with prescribed medications as trained.
