Job summary

Leicestershire County Council is seeking a Personal Assistant to support a client in Melton Mowbray who has Lewy Body Dementia, diabetes and osteoporosis. You will provide hand-held support with personal care, toileting, meals and medications, for 9 hours per week across Tue, Fri, Sat and Sun.

The role is permanent and paid at £13.71 per hour if directly employed or £17.50 per hour if self-employed. The appointment is subject to interview, references and a DBS check.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal care and assisting with daily activities.
• Respect for privacy, dignity and client preferences.
• DBS check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and toileting support.
• Assist with meals and drinks.
• Take prescribed medications.
• Provide hand-held support and companionship.
