Job summary

Leicestershire County Council is advertising for two Personal Assistants to support a client in Cosby with daily living tasks. You will provide personal care, medication administration, meal preparation, and light domestic duties.

The role runs 19 hours per week across seven days; shifts include 45–60 minute calls and social activities with the dog. Driving licence is required and fuel is reimbursed. DBS check is funded by the authority.

Qualifications

• Experience providing personal care to adults is preferred.
• Driving licence is required; fuel paid.
• DBS check is required (funded by the funding authority if not held).
• Self-employed or directly employed by the client may apply.

Responsibilities

• Support with personal care.
• Prompting fluids and medication administration.
• Preparing meals and light domestic tasks.
• Laundry and general housework.
• Support with walking the dog and social activities.
