Job summary

A care support organization in Weston-super-Mare is seeking a Personal Assistant for a fun-loving young boy with complex needs. Qualifications

• A nurturing and enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with children, especially those with additional needs.
• Experience or knowledge of AAC and Makaton communication methods would be advantageous.
• Experience of positive behaviour support would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist the client in daily living activities while promoting autonomy and choice.
• Work alongside the MDT and family to implement and evaluate support strategies tailored to the client’s needs.
• Maintain clear records of care and send them electronically after each shift.
