Job summary

The Old School House in Beverley, operated by East Riding of Yorkshire Council, is looking for a casual laundry assistant to join a £ Outstanding dementia care service. You will help keep the home clean and comfortable for residents living with advanced dementia, supporting a compassionate team committed to person-centred care.

We provide training, flexible hours and a welcoming, supportive environment in a council-run setting known for high standards and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Experience in care is welcome but not essential; training will be provided.
• We are looking for people who are kind, patient and able to build positive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Assist with laundry and maintain cleanliness of the care home.
• Support residents with dignity and respect in a warm, safe environment.
• Work as part of a team to ensure smooth daily routines.
