Job summary

PrimeLife Ltd in Solihull is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support residents with age-related conditions, physical disabilities and dementia. You will prepare meals, keep the kitchen hygienic and ensure a dignified dining experience.

The role offers regular shifts, Fully funded DBS, Holiday Pay, Refer a Friend scheme and Blue Light Card savings. Prior cooking experience is helpful; training is provided to meet food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Genuine caring nature and respect for residents.
• Experience as cook or food service helpful, Prime Life supports training.
• Qualifications in Food Hygiene and/or Catering are desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals, snacks and beverages in line with residents' dietary requirements.
• Undertake quality checks on food prepared and stored.
• Assist with food service to ensure a dignified dining experience.
• Maintain stock records in line with policy and food safety regulations.
• Order stock and maintain accurate records.
• Keep kitchen hygienic and assist with deep cleaning tasks.
