Job summary

Aspirations Care Limited is seeking an experienced Support Worker to assist a young woman in her own home and community. You will support daily living, PEG-related tasks, medication, personal care, mobility, and community activities with a compassionate, patient and reliable approach.

You will join a team dedicated to safeguarding and promoting wellbeing, with opportunities for training and career development and a supportive rota structure.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with complex health needs.
• Knowledge and experience of PEG care and epilepsy management.
• Competence with moving and handling procedures.
• Ability to provide high-quality personal care with dignity and respect.
• Compassionate, patient, reliable with a nurturing approach.
• Strong communication with non-verbal individuals.
• Hold a full UK driving licence and be confident driving a mobility vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Support P with daily routines and activities.
• Assist with PEG-related support per training and care plans.
• Support with medication administration.
• Provide personal care and continence support.
• Support safe mobility and transfers.
• Accompany P on community outings and appointments.
• Promote choice, independence and person-centred outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records and report concerns.
