Job summary

Orders of St. John Care Trust is seeking a part-time Housekeeper for Grace Care Centre in Thornbury. You will maintain high cleanliness standards, support hygiene and infection control, and help with daily cleaning and laundry to create a safe, welcoming home for residents.

You’ll be part of a friendly team, with training provided and opportunities to develop in a growing, not-for-profit organisation.

Qualifications

• Comfortable in an elderly care setting.
• Experience in housekeeping is welcome, but training is provided.
• Strong communication and teamwork are valued.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high cleanliness standards in resident rooms and common spaces.
• Champion hygiene and infection control within the home.
• Assist with daily cleaning and laundry tasks as part of the team.
• Create a welcoming, safe, and comfortable environment for residents and their visitors.
