Cornwallis Care Services Ltd is seeking a friendly Housekeeper to join our domestic team in our care home. You will maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment, supporting residents with a caring, person-centred approach.

Role involves everyday housekeeping tasks and light laundry, with a focus on dignity, comfort, and wellbeing for residents. Prior experience is valued, but a caring attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or cleaning preferred, but not essential.
• Willingness to work in both cleaning and laundry areas of the home.
• Ability to interact positively with residents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
• Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, sinks, and countertops
• Maki ng beds and changing linens
• Using cleaning tools such as vacuums, mops, and cloths
• Keeping bathrooms stocked with toiletries and fresh towels
• Cleaning mirrors, glass surfaces, and communal areas
• Tidying and refreshing residents' rooms
• Assisting in laundry duties and ensuring cleanliness throughout the home
• Interacting positively with residents and supporting their sense of home
