Job summary

East Riding of Yorkshire Council is seeking a part-time home support worker to help a female recipient in Anlaby. The role requires 4 hours of work every fortnight, with days scheduled on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Fridays and agreed every fortnight between worker and employer.

The role begins with deep cleaning and progresses to regular cleaning, general domestics, windows, dusting, hoovering and related household tasks. DBS/reference checks will be required at cost.

Qualifications

• DBS checks may be required for the post.
• References may be requested; cost to be met by the local authority.

Responsibilities

• Support with initial deep cleaning and ongoing domestic tasks.
• Clean windows, skirting boards, doors, dusting and hoovering.
• Carry out other household chores as identified.
