Job summary

St Anthony's Care Service in Newcastle is seeking Community Care Workers to support adults at home across Walker, Byker, Jesmond, Heaton and Wallsend. You will assist with daily tasks to help clients live independently, including personal care, meals, medication, and attending appointments. No prior experience needed; full training provided.

A full driving licence and access to a car are required. We offer guaranteed hours contracts for both full-time and part-time positions with paid induction

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; full training provided.
• Must demonstrate caring, patience, kindness, trustworthiness and commitment.
• Must be punctual, dependable and have excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Personal Care and daily living tasks.
• Support with Food Preparation and medication administration.
• Provide shopping and domestic support; assist with appointments and activities.
• Help clients attend social and physical activities when needed.
• Keep accurate notes and communicate changes to supervisors.
