Valley Care Direct is looking for Health Care Assistants to help people live independently at home with dignity and companionship. No prior care experience is required, as full training is provided and ongoing support is available.

You will join a friendly, family-focused team offering a competitive hourly rate (£13.00), mileage allowance, paid DBS, holidays, and a clear path for qualification funding and career progression.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; caring nature welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Support personal care (washing, dressing, bathing, toileting).
• Assist with mobility and safe use of equipment.
• Prepare meals, snacks and drinks.
• Support individuals with medication as required.
• Help with household tasks like laundry and light cleaning.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with end-of-life care where required.
• Promote independence, dignity and wellbeing.
