Caremark Preston is seeking a compassionate domiciliary care assistant to join our small, dedicated team. You will provide high-quality care to individuals in their own homes, supporting daily activities and promoting independence through personalised care plans.

This part-time, permanent, field-based role in Preston requires a caring, professional approach. You will assist with personal care, meals, mobility, and social activities, while keeping accurate records and communicating with families

Qualifications

• Full driving licence required for domiciliary visits.
• IT systems experience helpful for record keeping.
• Excellent spoken and written English is essential.
• Understanding and implementing care plans.
• Compassionate, professional and respectful approach.
• DBS check required (at own expense).

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with personal care tasks (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Support mobility and physical activities to enhance quality of life.
• Assist with meal preparation and nutrition.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of care provided.
• Monitor and report changes in health or wellbeing.
• Communicate with customers, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Follow care plans to meet each customer's needs.
• Provide companionship and social engagement.
• Maintain a clean, safe, hygienic environment.
