Job summary

Home Instead Mansfield is seeking a Health Care Assistant to provide compassionate, non-medical care in clients' homes. You will support daily hygiene, mobility, companionship, meal planning, medication reminders, light housework and accompany clients to activities and appointments.

No previous experience is required as full training is provided; however, candidates must have a full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle, plus the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; full training provided.
• Must hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support daily hygiene.
• Assist with mobility to support safe movement.
• Offer companionship for emotional wellbeing.
• Complete light housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Accompany clients to activities and appointments.
• Manage medication reminders and prescription collection.
• Plan and prepare meals to client requirements.
• Enrich the lives of clients through engagement.
• Shop for groceries and collect prescriptions when required.
