Job summary

PRN Nursing and Homecare Services is seeking caring, reliable Support Workers to deliver in-home care in Bognor Regis and nearby communities. You will follow individual care plans, support daily routines, and promote independence and wellbeing for clients in their own homes.

Roles are offered full-time, part-time and bank with weekday, evening and weekend shifts. Travel time and mileage are paid, and you will receive induction plus ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including washing, dressing and continence care.
• Support mobility and transfers per moving and handling assessments.
• Prepare meals, drinks and snacks and assist with eating and drinking.
• Support with medication per care plans.
• Complete light domestic tasks: laundry, bed making and washing up.
• Provide companionship and encourage hobbies and community involvement.
• Support palliative or end-of-life care where appropriate.
• Promote independence, dignity and choice while respecting consent.
• Respect customers' backgrounds, cultures and beliefs.
• Report changes in health, mobility or wellbeing.
• Follow infection prevention and safety procedures.
• Maintain records of care provided and incidents.
• Record arrival/departure times in care system.
• Communicate effectively with customers, relatives and professionals.
