Job summary

Routes Healthcare is seeking care assistants to visit clients in their own homes across Preston and surrounding areas. You will be part of a community-based role with driving between visits and a focus on compassionate, person-centered care.

No previous care experience is required; comprehensive training and the Care Cadet pathway support your development within the company and into future healthcare opportunities.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
• Full valid UK driving licence and access to your own car.
• Reliable, honest, and genuinely interested in supporting people.

Responsibilities

• Personal care delivered with dignity
• Help with medication and daily routines
• Support with meals, nutrition, and household tasks
• Working alongside clients who have complex healthcare needs
• Travelling between visits throughout your shift
