The post holder at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board will support the trained nurse and other health care professionals in delivering the highest standard of patient-focused care. The post aims to improve the quality of health and social care for people who are acutely or chronically ill, frail or disabled.

Applicants should be prepared to complete Level 2 NVQ within 30 months of appointment; Welsh language ability is desirable and Welsh or English applications are welcome.

Qualifikationen

• NVQ Level 2 completion within 30 months of appointment is required.
• Ability to apply the 12 fundamentals of care in patient care.
• Commitment to maintaining patient dignity and confidentiality.

Aufgaben

• Assist patients with tasks to maintain quality of life and independence.
• Undertake direct patient care tasks under supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Assist with nursing procedures or activities requiring two people’s presence.
• Contribute to maintaining the patient care environment and report changes to the nurse.
• Respect patient confidentiality and work with the multi-disciplinary team.
