Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is looking for a General Assistant in our care home to support residents with a range of tasks across housekeeping, cleaning, laundry and catering. You’ll help create a warm, homely environment and build trusting relationships with residents.

You’ll be reliable, compassionate and practical, ready to learn. Full training is provided, and you’ll have opportunities to take courses to develop your skills while making a meaningful difference in residents’ daily lives.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable, compassionate and caring.
• Willingness to learn and develop through training.

Responsibilities

• Assist with housekeeping to keep the home clean and welcoming.
• Support laundry and cleaning tasks as required.
• Aid catering/meal service to residents as needed.
