Job summary

Highgate Care Services Ltd is seeking a Domestic/Laundry Assistant at Cavendish Court, Alderley Edge. This permanent, full-time role (33 hours per week) includes some evenings and weekends, with a rate of £12.87 per hour.

You will maintain high cleanliness standards, manage laundry duties, and support residents in a warm, person‑centred environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the premises and launder clothing and linens.
• Operate washing machines, dryers, ironing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Clean designated areas including bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchens.
• Vacuum, dust, mop, disinfect surfaces, and remove rubbish.
• Refill supplies and follow hygiene and safety procedures.
