Job summary

Prime Life Ltd at Charnwood Oaks in Shepshed is seeking a Cook to join our friendly team and make mealtimes something our residents look forward to. You will prepare meals, plan menus around dietary needs and provide a dignified dining experience in a warm home environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Cook, Chef or within a catering environment.
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and dietary requirements.
• Caring, patient and friendly approach.

Responsibilities

• Preparing tasty, nutritious meals, snacks and refreshments.
• Planning menus around residents' preferences and dietary requirements.
• Making mealtimes enjoyable and ensuring residents receive a dignified dining experience.
• Maintaining food hygiene and safety standards.
• Managing stock, ordering supplies and keeping accurate records.
• Keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and organised.
