Job summary

Optimum Care Group in Ballyclare is seeking a Community Care Worker to provide compassionate in-home support to clients. You will assist with daily living tasks, and ensure comfort and safety in the client’s home environment.

Position offers day and evening shifts, permanent contracts with guaranteed hours, a joining bonus, and opportunities for training and progression. Mileage allowance and enhanced benefits are provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• Desire to care for vulnerable adults in their home.
• Must have a full driving licence and access to a car with business insurance.
• Own mobile phone for communication and care coordination.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal washing, showering and dressing.
• Provide meals, refreshments and light snacks.
• Administer and prompt medications as required.
• Assist with light cleaning, shopping, laundry and daily tasks.
• Support safe movement using aids when needed.
• Provide care sitting to support other carers and promote independence.
