Job summary

Care in Kent is seeking kind, reliable individuals to join our Ashford Community Care Team as Community Care Workers. You’ll help clients live safely and independently in their homes, with visits ranging from 30 minutes to longer durations.

After training, you’ll travel between clients, providing compassionate, individualized care with office and on-call support. Role includes personal care, medication prompts, meals, light tasks, mobility assistance, and meaningful companionship.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in clients' homes with sensitivity and respect.
• Good communication and listening skills.
• Reliable and flexible to meet varied visit times.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist daily routines.
• Support with medication prompts per care plan.
• Prepare meals and encourage good nutrition.
• Tackle light household tasks and mobility support.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Monitor wellbeing and flag concerns to the team.
• Support clients to attend appointments and activities.
