Job summary

Nurseplus is seeking a temporary Support Worker to provide high-quality care across a range of settings, from elderly care to individuals with learning disabilities, mental health challenges, and more complex needs.

You’ll support service users with personal care, meals, and daily activities, following care plans to promote independence and dignity. Flexible shifts, weekly pay, and industry-leading training help you grow in a compassionate team.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 and have the right to work in the UK.
• Flexible availability to travel to different care settings.
• Good standard of English and ability to communicate effectively.
• Clear enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration.
• Previous experience as a care worker in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist service users with personal care and safe lifting and moving.
• Administer medication, prepare meals, and provide companionship.
• Work with care plans to promote independence and dignity.
