Job summary

Home Instead is recruiting Care Professionals for Newry and surrounding areas. The role focuses on delivering compassionate, one-hour minimum visits to help clients stay independent at home.

Training and ongoing support are provided, with opportunities for accredited training in dementia, Parkinson’s, and end-of-life care. As part of the recruitment drive in September, we seek caring individuals to join our friendly team across Banbridge and nearby areas.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and patient with clients
• Willingness to undergo enhanced background check (Access NI)
• Comfort with assisting with personal care and daily tasks

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and social interaction during visits
• Assist with meals and light housework
• Accompany clients to appointments or shopping
• Support personal care, bathing, dressing and grooming as needed
• Assist with medications as directed by care plan
