Job summary

Home Instead Ivybridge is seeking compassionate Care Professionals to join our award-winning team. With minimum one-hour visits, you will build relationships, provide personalised support, and positively impact older people in your local community.

We offer competitive pay (£13.60 per hour on weekdays, £14.60 per hour on weekends, with double pay on bank holidays), paid training, mileage, and flexible patterns to suit your lifestyle. A full UK driving licence and a reliable vehicle are essential.

Qualifications

• Care experience desirable but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle insured for business use.
• Right to work in the UK – must reside in UK and have right to work.
• Experience with dementia is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Support with personal care, helping clients start or end their day with dignity.
• Prepare meals and refreshments to individual preferences.
• Help around the home with light housekeeping, laundry, and keeping living spaces tidy.
• Accompany clients to appointments, shopping trips, or community activities.
• Encourage hobbies and independence and provide companionship.
