Responsibilities

• Working in line with the policies, code of conduct and procures of Metro Homecare.
• Assistance with tasks of daily living that people who use our services cannot manage alone.
• Cleaning, toileting, personal hygiene such as washing, dressing, shopping, collection of pensions, paying of bills and laundry.
• Contributing to the movement and handling of people who use our services to maximise their physical abilities and mobility.
• Assisting in the preparation and making of nutritious meals, drinks and snacks where required.
• Providing social support, such as talking and listening to clients, helping them maintain contact with family and friends.
• Administer medication where required/ necessary.
• Recording all actions and information within the home in a clear, legible and professional manner.
