Job summary

Hartford Care Limited is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents in our care home. Your duties include dusting resident rooms, cleaning bathrooms, and completing Cleaning Logs with care and detail.

You will help create a warm, happy atmosphere while upholding high cleanliness standards. Essential qualifications include compassion, excellent communication, solid organisational skills, and knowledge of health and safety, infection control and COSHH

• Excellent communication skills and ability to use IT systems.
• Good organisation and planning skills.
• Good attention to detail and desire to ensure standards are the highest.
• Good understanding of health and safety, infection control and COSHH procedures.
• Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
• Flexible approach to working hours.
• This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Keep the home clean and safe at all times, meeting hygiene standards.
• Dust and clean a resident's room, bathrooms and shared spaces.
• Complete cleaning logs and maintain accurate records.
• Work as part of a caring team to create a happy atmosphere for residents.
• Contribute to the overall comfort and safety of residents through attentive housekeeping.
