Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Housekeeping Assistant for Rivermere Care Home in Kent. You will join a close-knit team to maintain high cleanliness and laundry standards, ensuring all areas are well presented and residents are treated with dignity.

The role requires flexibility to cover various duties; DBS disclosure will be arranged by Avery, and eligibility to work in the UK must be provided. Join a caring, supportive environment with opportunities to grow.

Formación

• Knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety and COSHH assessments.
• Experience of cleaning laundry in a public setting.
• Demonstrate compassion and commitment to the delivery of high-quality housekeeping/laundry service to residents.
• Ability to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out all cleaning duties in accordance with worksheet instructions.
• Understand the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials.
• Ensure that all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition.
• Ensure that residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are respected.
