Job summary

OSJCT Group is seeking a Cook at Meadowcroft Care Home in Thame, Oxfordshire. You will join a friendly catering team to prepare meals for residents, manage dietary requirements and maintain high standards of food hygiene.

The role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7:00am–5:00pm with some weekend work; weekend enhancements apply. Competitive benefits and not-for-profit employer with strong values.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a professional kitchen and catering for specialist diets.
• Experience catering for large groups.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for residents with attention to special dietary needs.
• Ensure meals meet nutritional standards and dining experiences.
• Engage with residents to understand individual preferences.
• Carry out weekend shifts when required.
