Job summary

Helping Hands is hiring a Care Assistant to provide compassionate in-home support, helping people live well and stay independent. No prior care experience is required as full training is provided, and a full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle is preferred. Flexible shifts and paid mileage support are offered to fit your lifestyle.

You will join a purpose-driven team focused on dignity, safety, and quality of life for clients in their own homes.

Qualifications

• No care experience required; full training provided.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Right to Work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm companionship in customers' homes.
• Support with personal care including washing, bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Assist with mobility needs to keep customers safe and confident.
• Oversee and administer medication in line with care plans.
• Help with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and meal preparation.
• Run essential errands, from shopping to collecting prescriptions.
• Offer calm, considerate support that makes customers feel truly cared for.
