Job summary

Priority Care Group is seeking a Care Assistant to provide safe, compassionate support to residents in our care service. The role offers a locally aligned hourly pay of around £13.60, with training provided and opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• Prior care experience advantageous but not essential.
• PVG Scheme membership or willingness to obtain.
• SSSC registration or willingness to obtain.
• Satisfactory references per Safer Recruitment guidance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate and person-centred care.
• Support personal care, nutrition and mobility.
• Encourage independence and meaningful activities.
• Build relationships and provide companionship.
• Monitor health and report concerns to senior staff.
• Maintain accurate care records and daily logs.
• Respond promptly to call systems.
• Collaborate with colleagues and healthcare professionals.
• Follow infection prevention and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming environment.
