Job summary

Bupa's Copper Beech Care Home in Uckfield invites applications for a Care Assistant. You’ll deliver high-quality personal, social and emotional care, support independence, and help residents feel valued as part of the home.

We train you in digital care and support a nurse or senior carer, with a friendly team and opportunities to grow. Competitive hourly rate (£13.30–£14.30) and full-time 44-hour contracts available.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates empathy and excellent communication with residents and families.
• Ability to work effectively in a care team and follow care plans.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to digital care tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with high-quality clinical, social and emotional care.
• Provide companionship and support with daily activities and personal care.
• Support nurses and senior carers by monitoring residents and reporting changes.
• Communicate with residents’ families and other healthcare professionals.
