Qualificações

• Previous experience in a care role is beneficial but not essential.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and respectful approach.
• Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise tasks.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Willingness to learn, undertake relevant training, and develop new skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents, supporting wellbeing and independence.
• Assist with personal care such as washing, dressing, and toileting.
• Support residents with mobility, transfers, and use of equipment safely and appropriately.
• Help with mealtimes, ensuring residents receive nutritious food and hydration according to their needs and preferences.
• Offer emotional support, companionship, and encouragement to residents, helping to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
• Maintain accurate care records and report any changes to residents' health or wellbeing promptly.
• Follow all health, safety, and safeguarding procedures to ensure a safe environment for residents and colleagues.
