Qualifications

• No previous care experience required; full induction and training provided.
• Good communication skills in writing and speaking.
• Able to take initiative and be respectful to residents and staff.
• Flexible to cover a range of duties and shifts on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents in personal hygiene while maintaining independence, dignity and respect.
• Recognise and respond to clinical risk areas such as weight loss, sores, falls or infection and escalate as needed.
• Be courteous to residents and visitors, upholding dignity and individuality of each resident.
• Follow safe systems of work across the range of tasks.
