HealthJobs4U Ltd in Crosby is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join a warm residential home. This 33-hour-per-week role focuses on high-quality, person-centred care for residents in a Victorian property close to transport links and the seafront.

You will assist with personal care, mobility and daily living activities, promote independence and dignity, and support social activities. NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is desirable but not essential; training and progression are available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Care Assistant in a residential setting is desirable.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is desirable but not essential.
• Caring, reliable and professional approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to residents.
• Assist residents with personal care, mobility, nutrition and daily living activities.
• Promote independence, dignity and choice at all times.
• Support residents with social activities and meaningful engagement.
• Monitor wellbeing and report changes to senior staff.
• Maintain accurate care records and communicate with families and healthcare professionals.
• Help create a safe, welcoming environment for residents.
